    Hello all,

I'm not sure how many people know that you can go to Sandia on Mondays so I thought I would post it, especially for people new to the club.

Charlie has that day set up for motorcycles only. I spoke with him today and he is also allowing other weekdays as well (with advanced notice).

I was planning to head out and begin practicing on Mondays starting next week (2/29) for this coming race season as the Deming N/S challenge is creeping up on us. It's also a great way to do testing if you have made any changes to your bike over the winter.

The price is $50 for the day and Mike is good about making sure the track is in decent shape. Bathrooms are open and power is available track side, but food is closed so plan accordingly. Also, no ambulance, air fences, etc...

I normally go from 10am-3pm. Hope to see you guys and gals out there if your schedules permit.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Matt,

Thanks for this information. I had forgotten about this until you mentioned it. I would love to get out there and practice, and hopefully I will.

I've done these before, but it's been awhile. Can't beat $50., but I prefer not to be there alone.

I'm new to racing, so I def need seat time.

Anyone available next Monday, March 14?

    Just don't forget,

    No Airfence,

    No Cornerworkers and

    No Ambulance on site.

So keep your hormones in check.

    Scott,

The plan is for myself and Jeremy Pinckard with novice young son to be at the track about 1P. I am hoping the wing will not come up to bad.  What we do on the track is going to be at 3/4 speed and will depend on other riders.

I'll be there this Monday, March 21, with a good friend, Karl Hauer.

    Tracy, thanks for the reminder.

John, looking forward to seeing you, Jeremy & son. 3/4 Pace sounds about right. I need seat time on a new (to me) bike, & more laps to get to know the track. I'd like to do some sessions on the "alternate" configuration, if possible.

Looks like great weather Monday. See you there.

Karl & I had a great day! The weather cooperated, & despite a driving school sharing the track, we got plenty of seat time. Nice to meet the Johns, & Jeremy, on their mighty fine looking Rc 390 Cup.

Also glad that Matt could make it.

I'll be there again next Monday... Join me!
