    Registration for each race opens one minute after midnight on the evening of the prior race, so registration for the July race will open at 12:01 on the morning of June 27th. 

    Meanwhile, SMRI sells track day tickets through sponsors prior to the event for $100 or the day of the event for $125 at the track.  The July sponsor is PJ's Motorcycles and they already have tickets!  If you're out of town you can generally call the sponsor and reserve one by telephone if you pay by card and they'll bring it to the track for you. That'll save $25.

    Thanks for the 411.  $25 saving for advance track ticket is beer money for Saturday night.

    With my level, I can't register online.  Please help.  Also, what is the $80 registration fee?

    Hi Greg! It looks like you are registered as an Auxiliary Member. You need to change your membership level to a Reciprocal Racer. This will allow you to register to race.   The $80 is the the fee for the first race, $65 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd. If you want to race four or more races, we have a special called "Race Your Ass Off" for $225.

    No reciprocal racer option is available.   Only auxiliary or racer.  I am doing just the shootout and was told my ASMA licence would be honored like the SMRI ones were for the South round in March.

    I hope everyone is sorted out at this point.

    I know Greg and Matt are both registered, at least!

    Racers can register online and pay at the track by either cash or card.  We don't accept checks.   We will ABSOLUTELY accept ASMA licenses for this weekend (and any other weekend!) and "reciprocal racers" never have to buy an SMRI license as long as they have active credentials at another recognized club....which is most other clubs.  We LOVE visits from other clubs' racers and try our best to make things easy for you guys.  If there's something we're doing wrong, please let me know and I'll try to sort it out.
