I will post this here instead of emailing people directly. Please delete this if it is in the wrong place. For bike prep for 250 Supersport, is a steering stabilizer mandatory, suggested, or unnecessary? I have received guidance that it is a must, but I did not see that in Scott's race prep write-up, unless I missed it. I think it might be overkill for that bike at those speeds, but I am frequently wrong.

    Thank you, race Jedis.

Please disregard. I found the language in the rule book that steering dampers are not required but recommended.

Definitely NOT required, Chris, but they can keep you out of a messy situation.  These smaller bikes are probably the least likely to shake their heads on the gas, but the front ends will get light over bumps and such so it's not money wasted I think.

It's not worth much, but I don't have one on my 250 and have never felt the need for one.  Take that with several grains of salt.
