I have a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250. Clean title but was laid down and bent the steering neck. I was going to repair it and race it but as usual life gets in the way as well as other interests took priorities.
This is a good running bike and I jetted it appropriately and shimmed the needles for this altitude along with drilling the slides a little. I don't remember any of the details but I might be able to dig up some info. Has not been ran for many years though. Spark plugs are new as is the engine oil and filter were changed and new in the bike but never ran. We are talking 8 years old.
I bought a lot of new parts and some used to use for racing it. Most never installed or used. Here is a list:
New - Racetech springs, emulators and SS preload adjusters. All fresh with 15W fork oil. Sprung for 225lbs if I recall
Used - GSXR 600 shock and spring installed but was too stiff so I have a GSXR 1000 shock that is supposed to better for these bikes.
New - A&L Rear Set Adjuster set
New - JettingPro CDI
New - K&N single oval air filter
New - 415 chain and sprockets. 17/54 sprockets
New - PML exhaust and mufler
New - Aftermarket 17" wheels front and rear. Wheels and tires are brand new never used but age since purchase means you should remove the tires and get new ones. Bridgestones BTW
New - Woodcraft clip ons
New - Yamaha R6 throttle tube (way quicker throttle movement)
New - Galfer sintered brake pads not installed
New - Galfer SS brake line
New - SharkSkin bodywork Painted
New - Aluminum Gas cap
New - TurnTec Lithium battery. I will call it used since I have had it for awhile.
