It is with a heavy heart that SMRI's Board of Directors and Executive Committee wish to announce the resignation of Keith Hahn as SMRI Chief Corner Marshal and from SMRI's Board of Directors. Keith has worked tirelessly to keep SMRI's racers and track day riders safe and has been an integral part of SMRI's success over the past several years. We will miss him greatly and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
At the time of this writing we are searching for an interim Chief Corner Marshal for the remaining six events of the 2016 season. The office will be filled by election at the 2016 banquet.
Organization of the 2016 banquet will be handled by Cassandra Robertson and Katrina D'Aloia. Nominations for the office of Chief Corner Marshal and other offices due for election will be solicited as the season begins to wind down later in the year.
