Learn critical skills at realistic speeds on the safest learning venue possible, a road course track! Our clinic will teach you skills that will make you a safer rider at speeds that we as motorcyclists ride every day. We have designed this clinic for the working guy or gal, affordable, concise and fun. You don’t have to take a day off of work or cancel family events to attend. We take advantage of the glorious weather of Abq, NM and the long hours of light of the summer months, teaching you in a riding packed three hours.
Once the class starts, you will get a brief introduction from the instructors and other students, and then go right into a safety tech inspection of your motorcycle. Once you get the thumbs up, you will immediately start riding with an instructor-led introductory lap to the track. Once the instruction is done, we will do a couple instructor-led laps at the end where you, the student, can evaluate what you have learned by actually riding! No written tests or slow speed feats of superhuman balance, seen only in a tightrope walker.
You will notice the difference as you use your new found skills on the ride home from the track or on the way to dinner. Be sure to bring the items listed under the equipment requirements and a full tank of gas because we are going to ride!
A street legal motorcycle (no race bikes) with functioning brake light actuated by both front and rear brake levers. This means the motorcycle must have both front and rear brakes. Motorcycle will receive a typical track day tech inspection that inspects for safety critical mechanical conditions of the motorcycle.
Course will provide tape to tape up shatterable items such as headlights, tail lights and turn signals. If you wish to bring your own tape for this purpose, feel free to do so.
